- 1 black tea bag

- 1 inch ginger, bruised
- 2 inch galangal, bruised
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp coriander seeds

- 3 shallots

- Pound the candlenuts, coriander, garlic, shallots and salt in a mortar and pestle until you have a smooth paste. Add a little bit of water if needed to get it going.
